Toy faring o el mas frustrante hobby de México

Todo geek con cierto sentido de orgullo tiene en su poder al menos una figura de acción, es decir, es de esos articulos que nos dan un ejemplo tridimensional de nustros queridos heroes, ya sea de video juego o de alguna historieta, se puede buscar siempre algo que consideres digno de tus repisas.

¿que puedo decir? yo soy uno de los zoquetes que se dedica a coleccionar figuras de acción, en mi poder tengo desde He-man hasta Kratos, al momento poseo mas de 200 figuras entre empacadas y de estanteria dando preferencia a la escala 1:18 ( o la de los G.I. joe)

podria decir que en caso contrario a muchos de mis conocidos, yo nunca consegui gran cosa de lo que me gustaba de niño y ahora me doy vuelo cada que voy al departamento de jugueteria de alguna tienda departamental.

Y ahora ¿que es lo que hace tan malo este hobby? bueno, a todos aquellos que estan a mas de 500 KM de la frontera con Estados Unidos debo decir que estamos jodidos, al menos de que colecciones Star wars (de eso pulula por todas partes) pero lo que es G.I.joe u otra franquicia menos agraciada sera realmente dificil de encontrar.

Gracias a la pelicula de G.I. Joe, las tiendas se arriesgaron a vender mercancia pero se sient que ni siquiera le buscan para vender un producto, toman la ola al azar y la arrojan al publico para que se atragante con resto pero al menos de que sean coleccionistas, el publico no llega realmente a interesarse por el repaint mas asqueroso de una linea de juguetes
chequen esta abominación de plastico, esto fue lo que importó Hasbro de México hace 2 años. de todo lo que pudieron poner en tiendas parece que buscaron lo peor y lo marcaron con el precio mas loco que pudieron.

Por eso, gente coleccionista de juguetes, hago esta entrada y decido poner este blog al servicio de los cazadores de juguetes del territorio mexicano, tratare de postear cada salida de un juguete importante en México y buscaré la forma de poner noticias por si se animan a importar por una de las muchas tiendas que hay en la red

long story short is that since i got the New super Mario my mom held hostage my DS and spend her afternoons playing instead of neating or other mom hobbies.
i think that's actually awesome, she is beginning to understand why do i like games.
hope in the near future she starts chipping in when the game buying comes around.

Let's start with videogames, shall we?
the first that i wanna talk about is the rising franchise of sony, God of War.
this game came out on march 2005, and it was to my surprise one of the finnest pieces of digital art.

That's right, Sony Santa Monica developed this great game that shows us what a real spartan is about with great level design and a story that put the whole game together piece by piece and the main course, the starring of this story, Kratos.

The first impression of the "ghost of Sparta" is a bald dude with a loin cloth and some chained blades, but the reality is that while you play this title and take a good look at the character, his voice, and all around persona, you can immediatly can say that is an incredible design, and the best part is that it didn't need any of the cliches of the cool hero, in fact it's a whole new kind of visual in it, that is what makes Kratos so great.

So, whats the story beneath? easy, the gods of olympus hire Kratos to kill Ares the God of war in exchange of relieving his tormented soul, how difficult can be to kill a god? well, the answer is in the game.

The game itself has everything that i like in it: a great assortment of moves and combos, special abilities and powers, puzzles and a wide variety of enemies, gallons and gallons of blood, excellent 3d platform gameplay and boobs (yeah BOOBS!!!!).

The only downside is the bosses, they're only a few of them, i mean, the game is totally awesome but the lack of the great threats makes you want more of that huge monsters that you gotta beat Parappa style (by a button sequence) otherwise the game is just perfect.

hey, i'm Ram and i'll be publishing this blog from now on, what's new? well, in this blog i'll upload some cartoons and stuff trying to be loose theme blog.
My point on this is trying to get some kind of audience since i'm a penciler i'm hoping that with this, people can start to identify my work and in the meantime (hopefully) get some laffs.

Since the daily news are pretty depressing i thought that i could write about something funnier, so the catogories will be:

TV
Uploads will be every monday and friday and i'll try to give all the info i can in everyone of it (altough this isn't a news blog)
